La importancia de la comunicación ante el desastre en ciudades costeras

Abstract

The present article intends to make an approach to the concept of communication, especially from the vision of the German sociologist Niklas Luhmann. This effort is a first advance of conceptual revision for the research project “La comunicación en torno al Cambio Climático y la resiliencia social en Cancún y Riviera Maya, Quintana Roo México (2005-2017)” registered in the urban sociology line of the Doctorate in urbanism of the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México; At first, an approach to communication in history will be made, to then focus on communication from Niklas Luhmann, to end with a reflection on coastal cities and the importance of risk communication.
