Abstract

this approach to the study on to factories recovered by their workers (ERT) in Mexico, as part of the Workers’ Economics Network, with academic and social teams from Brazil, Uruguay, Colombia, Venezuela, Mexico and Argentina. In the work we are referring to the most emblematic of recovery of companies –better known in Mexico as factories occupied or taken–, derived from movements of democratic unions that faced the closure of their sources of work, who decided to take and occupy the facilities as well such as undertaking a legal battle to achieve collective management through the establishment of cooperatives, as well as other organizations related to economic self-management, which also resulted in cooperatives, forming part of the set of social movements that promote social transformation of the workers, of the popular sectors and of a more just society.
