La firma electrónica, ¿cambio tecnológico y organizativo en la gestión universitaria? El caso de la UAM-Xochimilco
Abstract
The electronic signature, also known as biometric signature, is a legal concept consisting of a cryptographic technique public key whose validity is that of a handwritten signature, which ensures that a data, document or message, It may not be –electronically– manipulated by someone other than the issuer. This new digital tool for control and validation is being implemented in the academic field of the UAM-Xochimilco from December 2016. We believe that this implementation will involve for the lecturer, technological and administrative changes in the digital school administration. It is intended to manage virtually all school registration processes in which is involved: list control group, register of final quarterly rating, evaluation of qualification of recovery log, check schedules and classrooms, among others. Therefore, our research aims to quantify the impact of this administrative burden –extra– teaching activities. To analyze this new University issues, we will get a convenience sample of teachers of the department of Social Sciences and Humanities. It will show the first results of this technological and organizational change that this year starts in the UAM-Xochimilco unit.
