El nuevo vínculo alimentario-energético y la crisis mundial

Abstract

This article's goal is to look for elements in order to characterize the new bond among the alimentary and energetic sectors that we considered that has been coming up recently. We consider that among the symptoms of this change are the raise in the food's prices in a national and International level from the 2007 and the scarcity and less efficiency of oil that is manifested with the rising and subsequent drop of this fuel. This has leaded to the search of new sources energy, among which biofuel stands out. All these un a global ecological and financial crisis context. We propose these changes to be part of a new energyyalimentary regime and propose some theorical approaches for the discussion. We characterize briefly the country's alimentary and energetic situation and the consequences of these changes within the Mexican society.
