La sociología clínica. Una propuesta de trabajo que interroga las barreras disciplinarias
Abstract
In this paper, we will present some of the historical developments that led to the creation of clinical sociology as a branch of the social sciences that is in tune with individuals and groups alike and that pays particular attention to the relationships of power in society. We will describe the application fields on which clinical sociology has centered as we will also delve into the analysis of organizations, the work on social exclusion, also involvement and research groups. Likewise, we will present an overview of the principal authors responsible for the development of clinical sociology in Latin America. Also, we will focus on the main authors and their works, as well as the geographical and institutional spaces in which they developed. Finally, we will describe how these contributions have been applied in Mexico.
