Abstract

The abjection on the threshold of the imaginary. For body studies it is necessary to begin with their materiality and how its construction is affected by imaginary processes. This article aims to address abjection as an analytical category in today's subjectivity process. Abjection is a fundamental category for thinking about ways of subjectivity elaborating and making a link between body studies in relation to self care, violence and the impact of pleasures in a constant construction body.
