Abstract

Inspirations and aspirations. Sense and memory of Atenco's struggle. Construction processes of collective memory are closely linked to forms of constitution of individuals, both the individual and the social processes. In this regard, we propose some reflections on collective memory as an instance that shapes subjective processes that energizes the way in which individuals build meaning and social reality. We use the approaches of theorists who have guided our thinking as well as the elements of the struggle of the Frente de Pueblos en Defensa de la Tierra de Atenco, since we want to account how a imaginary dimension brought by this organization: the constitution of individuals, their struggle and the social reality which they want to transform is caused by memory.
