Abstract

Proposal of a model for the analysis of integration among countries. The article is a review of the most important theories that have analyzed the phenomenon of integration among countries, from their origins established by Viner in the decade after World War II to the latest effort of the World Bank also the contributions made by neooregionalism approaches, open regionalism and the dynamic aspects of integration; the objective is to propose a theoretical model that distinguishes between phases, levels and stages of integration by analizing economic and political variables.
