Análisis de las trayectorias escolares de los estudiantes de sociología en la UAM- Xochimilco
Abstract
This article maintains that students are both agents and active producers of their own trajectories, but these are constructed as a complex net involving the institutional restriction system and the strategic game students play. Therefore, ‘trajectory’ is understood as an individual construct as well as a collective one. This articulation is associated with academic and administrative management devices, but also with rational models that differ on the relevance that each one of them gives to the set of variables and to the individual and/or institutional interest considered legitimate and dominant. In this paper, besides theoric considerations, it is reconstructed the trajectory of the last four sociology generations at the UAM-Xochimilco.
