Abstract

capitalism requires the existence of the nation-state and a World System as the fundamental territorial spaces to warranty it’s developement and expansión. However, this situation constitutes a contradiction that leads to diverse economical and political problems, a situation that has no solution within the World that generates Capital. Whilst the World System is comprised by both developed and dependent economies, there are unequal exchange mechanisms operating, while another Inter-State system is formed, where both Sobereign Nation-States and Sub-Sovereign Nation- States operate.
