La pantalla y la fosa. Modelos estéticos de la necropolítica en el México actual
Abstract
The image-politics relationship has become a central debate in social studies. According to recent researches about image, taking elements from philosophy, aesthetics, and sociology, it has been directed to the specific ralationship image-violence. Of course, Walter Benjamin ideas are central in this field of study. The main objective of this article is to analyze the relationship image-violence in contemporary Mexico by means of two models, based in two cases, Uruapan and Ayotzinapa. Narcotraffic plays a central role in this models, something that questions the notion of State according to Max Weber. Scene, mith, narcomessage and victim: these ones are the categories that shape each model.
