Sexoservicio, violencia criminal y relaciones de género en un enclave de inversión de capital productivo de carácter global

Abstract

this paper addresses the case of women who provide sexual services in the region of Zamora, Michoacán. It analyzes the various forms of violence towards them. The axis is to connect these diverse forms of violence with the development of a type of region with high technification in the commercial agricultural production with global connections. It tries to find elements comparable with other areas with similar characteristics in terms of capital advance. It provides ethnographic and methodological elements for the understanding of this type of relationships.
