Abstract

this paper pretend to contribute the State theoretical debate in order to understand it not like a goverment system but as a complex and wide political phenomenon. The aim is to highlight the various political processes that are taking place within States -and in between- that usually are interpreted as non State or contradictory to the State. In opposition of those versions in which the State would be a kind of government administration that has been transformed to the point of its reduction, we affirm that the state phenomenon has its own intents and purposes; and that they don’t change its structure despite the impressions that social reorganization are influencing. From this theoretical framework we regain State category potency to analyze the socio-state historical configuration of our times.
