Sindicatos y empresas recuperadas en Argentina
Continuidades y rupturas en experiencias autogestivas
Abstract
In this work we propose to analyze the relationship between recovered companies by their workers and unions through the observation of continuities, ruptures and innovations respect to the history of labor movement. The unions have had different answers about the recoveries: some of them acted as mediators in the conflict, others rejected the occupation and others acted favorably to self-management by workers. More than ten years after the first experiences and with the constant appearance of new cases the responses have changed. These experiences generate new questions to the unions about how the workers self-managed have to be represented: To whom should be represented? and what kind of rights should be guaranteed? We analyze here the great challenge that self-management processes propose to the unions when they reveal the political, social and economic struggle of the workers over the union fight.
