Campesinado y agricultura familiar. Aportes para un debate ausente en el desarrollo rural en Argentina
Keywords:

Conceptualizations that refer to the campesinado and family farmers are central to the analysis of social relations in rural areas, and for the implementation of various measures to improve the living conditions of rural populations. Each of these concepts implies a view of the dynamics and direction of the individuals and groups that constitute the subjects, as well as the manner and content of programs, plans and public policy mediators or interveners in conflictive relationships, both for access to and control of territories, as implied by the rural development models. The aim of this paper is to contribute to the debate, for which we have presented a conceptual approach, and subsequently developed a preliminary analysis of documents issued from two spaces –one institutional (CIPAF-INTA), and the other an industry association (FONAF)– which will permit the approach of our hypothesis concerning the conceptions and social implications of the aforementioned categories.
