Contribución desde Cuba a la actualización de los términos campesinado, agricultura urbana y soberanía alimentaria

Abstract

In this article three terms are addressed from the Cuban perspective that attempt to contribute to updating the knowledge concerning concepts that are used in Latin American and Caribbean rural development: “rural peasantry”, “urban agriculture” and “food sovereignty”, these same representing the three basic pillars of rural development and the satisfaction of the population’s food needs.
