La sucesión presidencial
Abstract
The Mexican phenomenon is quite singular. It derives from the Mexican political system, the single party structure, and from something so simple as the mechanism by which the candidate is being selected. It is generally well known that the outgoing president plays an important role but not always having all the elements by which his opinion could be definitive. Therefore, in the present article some of these aspects are considered, as well as a particular outline of each of the presidential takeover that took place in the XX century and at the beginning of the present one. Some anecdotic comments where recalled for a better illustration.
