Una nueva espiral en la crisis del mando político y de la comunidad ilusoria
Abstract
Enrique Peña Nieto’s electoral triumph and his arrival to the Mexican Presidency expresses the continuity of an already long crisis in the command/obey relationship in this country, open at least since the government of Carlos Salinas de Gortari, and emphasized under Felipe Calderón. The grotesque utilization of poverty as a tool to manipulate the massive purchase of votes; the cynicism of the Electoral, Treasury and Magisterial authorities, which decided not to see nor investigate the facts; and the PRI trying to hide and, once open to the public eye, minimizing the problem, all constitute elements that give a new turn to the spiral of an absence of legitimacy of the authorities in the government, widening the established gap between citizens and politicians. It is on this fragile ground where the new government will attempt to rebuild a seriously damaged illusory community.
