Elecciones y lecciones de democracia en México
Abstract
This paper describes how the arrival of neoliberal governments during the decade of eighties in Mexico starts a cycle of elections plenty of irregularities and fraud accussations, which points of inflection are the elections of 1988, 2006 and 2012. The wok analyses the development of those elections, its actors and consequences. The paper also describes the agreements between the Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI) end the National Action Party (PAN) in those elections. Finally, the article speculates about the governability perspectives in Mexico, after the elections of 2012.
