Territorio, cultura, identidad y marginación educativa
Abstract
Territory and educational opportunities are central issues on the agenda of educational research in our country. Mexico throughout its history has been characterized by different attempts to overcome the contradiction between the more developed states of the North and more vulnerable regions to the South and Southeast, with a population that faces a higher level of marginality, and that is further marginalized by the limited opportunities for human development provided. In this article, we are interested in how these inequalities make Mexico not only a multidiverse, multicultural, multilingual country, but also multi-inequitous or worse still multi-unjust. We primarily consider the inequality of educational opportunities in secondary education.
