Cruzando fronteras: arte y (des)obediencia civil

Abstract

The Transborder Immigrant Tool is a digital artwork that recreates aesthetic ways of civil disobedience capable of showing social injustice. The tit repositions bodies, spaces and networks within contemporary societies. This border geo-poetic tool is analyzed by its aesthetic dimension. It is also analyzed as an alternative space (artistic, social and technological) that makes possible other ways of social protest against the law and the legitimate institutions that participate in unfair actions, like those that do not respect the human rights.
