La medición del capital social en organizaciones civiles de asistencia alimentaria

Abstract

This article presents the central perspectives about conceptual and empirical development of social capital. The author describes the advantages and disadvantages of each theoretical tradition, as well as the virtues and problems associated with the concept, and the author build his own concept for use it in an empirical research. This effort is aimed at measuring social capital in Non- Governmental Organizations, located in Mexico City, that working in the area of food assistance.
