Los dilemas de la sociedad civil, entre la apología y el descrédito

Abstract

In recent times, inserted in a complex context of conformation and imposition of a new State model and set in framework of an increasing internationalization model of the social dynamics have emerged a series of organizations, those that we call civil organizations. They have not only emerged with strong and leading role but also have played a contradictory role in society. On the one hand, they have promoted and defended the civil and economical rights that lead towards a redistribution based upon the minority groups and specific groups roles and rights. On the other hand, they have deliberately or even non intentionally supported a policy which tendency is to reduce the social regulations of the social welfare and, in consequence they have been part of the policy that affects negatively on the social rights; they have became a way (mechanism) to reorganize and legitimate a new type of social solidarity and have agreed with the neoliberal policy of privatization which basis is the control and subjugation imposed by an highly authoritarian and conservative state, such as the Mexican state.
