Exhibición y cultura cinematográfica en Huatusco, Veracruz. Una ciudad cafetalera del siglo XX

Abstract

Based on two key activities in the economy of Huatusco, Veracruz, coffee production and film, elements of social and cultural history of the town are interweave. Both activities are linked to economic growth and cultural development of Huatusco society. The work is conducted from an extensive documentary research and interviews, which were glimpses of daily life, social relations and the change produced by the Modernity and government policies. Over time, these changes will reshape the cultural and economic practices of the city.
