Abstract
During the fifties the growing economy and industrialization of the country marked a social and cultural change in Mexican society, especially with the onset of economic models of development as the stabilizer. Proceeds of this came in the fifty Mexican cinema of different issues, more inclined to attract the middle class public, to tell stories that were developed in urban areas and to have the participation of very sensual women. Those women, rather than field, suburb or neighborhood, should suggest a sophisticated sensuality, overflowing, in urban air and modern dyes. The actress Silvia Pinal was erected at that time as a major movie stars, representative of this gradual change and a new exercise in sensuality on movie screen, less demonized, much more modern and according to Mexico’s changing economy of those years.
