Abstract

The book is, above all, content. It is form, space and clarity that allows the appropriation of the reader. It is the result of an editorial process. This is a printed or electronic space, promoter of culture and knowledge, which reflects the complexity of the publishing industry and surrounding itself with the means to consolidate natural commercial bookstores and libraries. Fairs are an historical and commercial space to promote direct relationships between the creator/producer of the book and the consumer, also the staging of spaces designed for the enjoyment of them in an appropriate environment. Book fairs, in a festival cultural space, increase the content and editorial qualities of the various titles to be handled, displayed and sold, which is why the markets are, by their environment and situation, a cultural industry.
