La televisión salvaje
Abstract
The greatest change in mass communications history in Mexico happened after the incorporation to the North American Free Trade Agreement. In this moment the Mexican State stopped being the controlling entity of the cultural and national communication processes, leaving its direction to the dynamics of the free market: an informative laissez faire. Such tendency reinforced the model of market communications in our country, relegating other models of social communication especially the public service. Thus the reign of savage television began, generating the expansion of the stupid culture, which has caused a deep and silent ethical and moral crisis for the collective survival of the country.
