Los movimientos sociales japoneses. La configuración de actores en torno a la Cumbre del G8, 2008
Abstract
Social movements in Japan follow a course of serious decline since 1970 decade. There is slight hope for resurgence of social movements in Japan. That is the external pressure exerted by international movement network, especially summit protest network. Two equal size conflictual national-level networks and one local network, and they collaborate in the local events. And in their background, there were historical-institutional situations. The reason that actor configuration became not left-centered like Genoa is, in essence, the dissolving of 1960s youth movement. And the reason that Local Priority Principle was accepted in protesters around 2008 summit may result mainly from the 2000 Okinawa’s local experience.Downloads
