Abstract

This paper presents a proposal for understanding the structural reasons that Mexico failed the so-called transition to democracy. This failure raises questions about the implications for the rule a “power hub” in the exercise of State authority, catastrophic consequences for the lower classes and, above all, the verity unity of the State.
