Abstract

The text explains the complex political reconfiguration that Latin America in the last decade, from which important changes have been developed around the State of democracy and the economy, highlighting the cases of Venezuela, Bolivia and Ecuador. It also addresses regional integration processes that tend to be more independence from U.S. hegemony and the continuation of neo-liberal States in some countries faced strong resistance in the context of profound political and social crisis. It tries to explain the Latin American and Caribbean to present a set of changes, apparently irreversible, presenting a scene of true social justice, under the effect of a participatory democracy and the full exercise of nation sovereignty.
