Abstract

UAM vision on poverty. 2009 Forum. The article concentrates reflections about two year activities which end in a development of a Forum. The concern on poverty in Mexico and the conviction that can be changed, led UAM researchers to collect their analysis and discussion to arrange academic production. The text has three parts, first it is shown researcher’s reflections and conclusions at seminars, meetings and committee sessions, the second part is a presentation summary of invited and reviewed talks for the Forum, the third is a double activity: first to outline at greater length the contribution of special presentations, on the other hand to show the theoretical and methodological convenience to distinguish poor, poverty and impoverishment.
