Abstract
Lev Tolstóy: poverty and good. The objective is to discern the psychological and ethicalcomplexities of poverty that is usually forgotten in contemporary studies. Lev Tolstóy essays are reviewed in which it is shown that its views on the problems of poverty are of eminent importance. From the interpretation of three essays of the great nineteenth century Russian writer, it is shown that the issue can be accessed from a moral-philosophical approach.
