Las luchas indias y sus intelectuales
Abstract
In this article the process of gestation of a new generation of indigenous leaders in the state of Guerrero is narrated. Generation that is born as a result of the necessity of the communities seated in the region, to train its own intellectuals. This process frames in the construction of an intercultural dialogue between the local original towns and the search spaces of creation and recreation of the cultures and world visions; in view of open horizons of decolonization being useful the Indian fights at national level and of Latin America. The result in addition has been the social confluence of diverse processes and fights that the towns nahua, mixteco, tlapaneco, amuzgo and afromexicano, have given by the recognition of their rights and to manage of independent way its projects of future. The creation of the Intercultural University of the Towns of the South (Unisur, by its spanish abbreviation), is the result of a fight in which communities have come together, indigenous organizations and labor organizations (like the magisterial union); where, over internal disputes and conflicts or of appreciation and conduction of the demands they have been agreed to create his own institution of education superior.
